That would make your life a lot easier. Or maybe you should take up Sam's idea and get the little darlings hemming or even embroidering tablecloths instead!sharonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03247276433803886670noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1686467686335484826.post-77590236813716686842008-11-16T10:59:00.000-08:002008-11-16T10:59:00.000-08:00Good grief! Instead of all these activites, you should give them all a tablecloth to hem. Then you can sit down with your own book, and relax ;-)Samhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16127623000367674910noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1686467686335484826.post-16502064804890531482008-11-16T06:52:00.000-08:002008-11-16T06:52:00.000-08:00Poor Grit, I like Saturdays so much, because I har...Poor Grit, I like Saturdays so much, because I hardly have to take care of myself. I just walk the dog and feed all the animals and make sure I'm dressed halfway decent and that's it. I could get drunk all day if I wanted to and nobody would be any wiser.

Now, mind you, I did have children at one time who needed me and who needed to go places, but those days are far behind me and now it is just me I have to think about. Would you like to trade places with me? You might miss your brood very quickly and I would miss my peace and quiet.

We all arrive at our appointed stages in life when we are good and ready. I am good and ready for this one, although I wish you more quiet weekends and less intensive days. More of Dig, I guess.

Be good dear one and hang in there. The children sound very sturdy, they will survive falling roof tiles, I'm sure of it.Irenehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05043376053971475659noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1686467686335484826.post-65088619144443562712008-11-16T05:19:00.000-08:002008-11-16T05:19:00.000-08:00This sounds incredibly stressful and I can see why...This sounds incredibly stressful and I can see why your Saturdays are horrible. I laughed when I read about your child not being able to put the book down, even in an exploding house. I was the same way.Triciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06086740613832715808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1686467686335484826.post-75596731207791736452008-11-16T03:56:00.000-08:002008-11-16T03:56:00.000-08:00oh babe. papacrow is going back to work on monday ...oh babe. papacrow is going back to work on monday after 2wks off, just as I'd gotton used to him being around and was feeling less swamped. sigh.mamacrowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16484565827023574347noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1686467686335484826.post-23607357626070234182008-11-16T03:54:00.000-08:002008-11-16T03:54:00.000-08:00this week I am hating Sundays, as Tim is in Suffol...this week I am hating Sundays, as Tim is in Suffolk and Big had a Brownie day out that started at 9.45 (on a Sunday??) and Small really didn't want to get up after bouncing around the house until 10.30 last night...Jax Blunthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09415759029231313958noreply@blogger.com
