I think the Ferry is one of my favorite parts of Hong Kong. It's so gritty and non-glamorous but the background cloudy buildings and beautiful bay area make it very interesting.
Very pretty Grit. Not sure I would want to do it on a regular basis though as I do not have a sea-legs gene! Our periodic trips across the Channel when we were in the UK were rather fraught exercises. I have however managed the very short trip across the Swan River in Perth to get to the Zoo with complete equanimity ;-)

ReplyDeleteThese pics make me feel very nostalgic. I grew up there, and seeing scenes like that remind me that in some sense I still think of it as home.

ReplyDeleteit is true, sea sickness would be a significant impediment here. the only other way is by helicopter.
