The start of another expensive new hobby

Do you girls know how many pairs of shoes I could have bought? Do you?

don't speak to me about expensive hobbies. I have one swimming/ surfing addict, one who attends a fancy (expensive) art school and one horse mad. I start trembling when I think about what the three year old may take up in the next couple of years.

You should try and get your kids into track and field. It's much cheaper and very healthy.

hahahahaha. Don't you read my posts. Isn't this under the category "I don't care if everyone scuba dives from age 4 you can do it when you can afford it otherwise there will be nothing left to look forward to?"

My mum paid out for my sister to learn to scuba dive because the training club sessions were always on a Friday night (thus preventing her going out and getting plastered/on drugs/in with the wrong crowd) and there was always an early Sunday morning dive somewhere such as a gravel pit so she couldn't go out and get p****d Saturday night either. Genius.

reading in the local library kelly (if you still have one); that must count as one of the cheapest activities (and probably why i was encouraged to do it!)

tiger would enjoy that, nora, and she's asked to join an athletics/running club. my plan is to look around at home and see what we can do.

it probably does fall under that category gweipo! but i have given in for shark, who is suspect is merely a fish in human form.

michelle, that is sharp thinking. i will consider this approach in the coming years! now what did she get you doing on a friday night?

I was the elder daughter. But I never did drugs.
