More important than time

Shark, please come with us. I want to walk on the beach at Lamma with you, and together we'll explore everything under the sands.

My mum's family moved to New York when she was about 17 and it was supposed to be forever but ended up for 2 years. She said she spent the whole time moaning about missing England, bursting into tears if she saw a double decker bus in a film etc She reckons if she'd KNOWN it was going to be for just 2 years she would've loved it. (Well - teenagers are teenagers - who knows....)

MY damned kids - a 2 week only stay in Dubai - moaned like buggery the whole time: I'm bored, I miss my friends, when can we go home, can't we just go now and leave Daddy here, it's too hot, I'm missing a trip to Drusillas, it's so unfair..etc.....

Then looking at some pictures the other day, I got: I really miss Dubai, I loved it there, when can we go back? Godsakes....

Sorry - I know I'm no help. Just hope the girls are OK-er about it all and you're not too wrung out!

The run in is too long, there's too much time to think of the negatives. Once they get there Daddy Dig will be able to take some of the strain. Might take a bit of time for you all to settle down but there's plenty of distraction to be had in HK.
