Out of office autoreply

Maybe if I spend all the free time of my day reading the comments unroll over here, the house will pack up by itself. The laundry will put itself on, the floor tidy itself, the privet trim itself, and Shark might go shopping and cook for everyone, all day long.

Oh my! I read the first 50 comments. It would appear that any pro Home Education article really brings out the ignorant bigots. Sad, very sad.

read on, sharon! the comments become longer, more carefully expressed, and many issues are raised.

what i do find astonishing is that after such careful explanation of some key points about home ed (eg the education, well-being, happiness of the child at the centre of it all) we still can get the odd commentator who concludes 'school is best and you're all a bunch of freaks'. i should thank them. they make me laugh.

I confess I've been avoiding reading it. Just don't have the stamina or stomach for it any more.

Yeah, OR you'll go mad and want to hide in a closet to escape all the ignorant mean people.

SERIOUSLY - Parents should not be the sole decider in their child's education? Do these people even hear what they are saying?

Idiots. Scary, scary, idiots.

i just look on it as added material. xx

I didn't want to read it, but I had to.

So, so depressing. The Pro-schoolers don't even come up with a good arguement. They post personal comment and then run away.

We are all a bunch of freaks though, admit it :)

How do these people put one foot in front of another with so much poison in their systems?

I am SO glad I am not in THEIR world. I am in THE world. And I can see and hear and feel and taste and smell with total freedom of thought.

These people are the result of school education!

But so am I!

I am the result of looking out of the window at the world when I was supposed to be listening to the teacher. SO glad I did!
